Sloped ceilings present a unique problem that cannot normally be addressed with other recessed housing fixtures. Specifically, the angle of the ceiling would not allow the light beam to be directed straight down, or against an adjacent wall if standard housings were used. Slope ceiling housings are designed accommodate the angle of the ceiling while allowing full directional adjustment of the light beam.
